Why See Donald Fagen?

Steely Dan founder heads out with new band

The founder of one of America's favorite classic soft rock band heads out on a solo tour this September, with his new band The Nightflyers. Promising a set filled with both Steely Dan hits and songs from his solo album, SD fans are in for a full-scale treat! Named after Fagen's 1982 solo debut The Nightfly, his new band comprises Connor Kennedy on guitar and vocals, Lee Falco on drums, Brandon Morrison on bass and Will Bryant on keyboards. Fagen will be headed to Atlanta Symphony Hall in Atlanta, GA, August 16, 2017

Steely Dan are a jazz rock band who were especially popular during the 1970s. Although the line-up has changed, the band continue to tour after a 10-year hiatus in the 1980s. Their first album, Can't Buy a Thrill, contained two of their best loved songs - "Do It Again" and "Reelin' In the Years".
