Goo Goo Dolls are heading across North America on the Summer Anthem tour this July, and are bringing their friends in Dashboard Confessional along for the ride! Goo Goo Dolls, who are currently working on a new album, will be celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of their breakout album, A Boy Named Goo, their first (of many) albums to become platinum-certified. You won't want to miss out on this nostalgia-heavy show!
Goo Goo Dolls were formed in 1986 in Buffalo, New York. They had mainstream success in 1993, but are arguably best known for their multi-platinum and diamond-certified single, Iris, which was featured in the Nicolas Cage movie City of Angels.
Dashboard Confessional are widely regarded as one of the emo greats, blasting into the public eye with their song Vindicated, which frontman Chris Carrabba wrote for Spiderman 2, allegedly in ten minutes!
