Young the Giant and Milky Chance

I am middle age adult who loves live music. My husband and I went to YTG on Friday night with my son and we found the concert surprisingly amazing. Actually, thought Milky Chance was surprising as not a huge fan of theirs but I did have another appreciation after seeing them live! They were high energy and great sound! The forerunner a new upcoming female artist was amazing she was from Armenia, Rosa Linn and her music reminded me of Adele, everyone tries to imitate her however this artist did have a great voice and great sound. There was a little delay between Linn and Milky Chance, not sure what the hold up was there. Otherwise, Young the Giant is now in my playbook and daily listens! They have a great sound.

first time seeing Milky Chance live. AMAZING stage presence and voice never seemed breathy even though Clemens was dancing much of the time. the crowd was so into their set. 5 stars. went for YTG. the show got off to a slow start; American Bollywood poor choice for an opening number. amazing vocal but a drop in energy from a few years ago. 4+ stars

Milky Chance was the Headliner

Milky Chance absolutely killed it. By far the best show of the night. Young the giant really let me down. In there their hometown (wtf?). We get that you made a new album, but they played the same set list as they did in every other city. Screw the Bollywood reincarnation stuff and just give your fans what they love. Again, hats off to Milky Chance. Should have been the headliner.

Went to YTG concert last night. They were fantastic! Music was flawless. Good sound and overall the show was very polished. The show was accompanied by a very tasteful light show that made it pleasant to watch. The singer was bang on every note and had great presence! You can tell they’ve been at it for 10 years. Highly recommend anyone to see these guys live. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because their opening band. Sure sure was not a good opener. Their opening song was terrible. Lead guitarist had his back to the crowd far too much. And their music was something out of the terrible eighties high school band pile. I can think of hundreds of up an comers that would have balanced the show much better. They were not worthy of opening for a band like YTG. All they did was make them look amazing! Sorry guys, back to the garage. 👍👍 for YTG!!
