Why see Robert Plant?
On Tour
Rock and Roll's most enticing lead singer is on tour with his new band, the Sensation Space Shifters. Alongside classic Led Zepplin greats, the 'space shifters are about exploration of sound, contrasting afro-beat, country and blues to create an entirely new sound that goes to show that Plant is still evolving stylistically, 4 decades into his legendary career.
With his impressively high pitched pipes, Robert Plant's voice is instantly recognizable and contributed to Led Zepplin's status as one of the biggest bands of all time. Originally training to be an accountant, Plant's destiny changed when he met guitarists Jimmy Page, who, after years of being a session musician, was looking to form a new band. Along with John Paul Jones and John Bonham, they went on to dominate the UK and the US with a powerful, blues rock output that continues to inspire musicians today. As a Solo artist Robert has never floundered and is always committed to making new an exciting music. He's even softened up in recent years about the small matter of a reunion...
