A Family-Friendly Christmas Concert

Introduce the little ones to the magic of orchestral festive music this Christmas season with A Flicker Of Light On A Winter's Night. Featuring the talents of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Associate Conductor Stephen Mulligan and Canadian children's theatre company Platypus Theatre, the family-friendly theatrical concert follows three children as they discover the true meaning of Christmas through classic holiday tunes like Joy To The World, the Hanukkah Song, Frosty The Snowman and Greensleeves. 

Since its inception in 1989 Platypus Theatre has become a leading light of the children's theatre scene. Fusing fascinating storytelling and orchestral music, the trailblazing outfit has brought the classical genre to life in intelligent, educational and interactive ways. Early birds take note! Pre-concert activities including an instrument petting zoo, hot chocolate bar and arts and crafts booth begin at 12:30pm in the Azadi Galleria.
