Arguably the most popular of the composer's 41 symphonies, Symphony No. 40 it's filled with epic moments and memorable melodies that were immediately popular in his lifetime and still are today. The Mass, meanwhile, swings from solemnity to orchestral fireworks, creating a thrilling experience for the symphony goer. Famously and mysteriously unfinished, it is thought Mozart wrote the piece for his new wife Constanze, possibly to celebrate their wedding or to show off her own vocal talents.
