A Family Friendly Swan Lake!

Aimed at young ballet-goers but sure to enchant kids and adults alike, the Atlanta Ballet's shortened version of Swan Lake wings its way back to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in February 2025! Devised by celebrated choreographer and Balanchine disciple Bruce Wells, the charming production leaves out none of the magic of the original but serves as a great introduction to classical ballet for under 12 audiences during the one hour, one intermission show. 

Featuring a beauteous princess, her true love prince, an evil sorcerer with a chip on his shoulder and a host of animal friends, The Swan Princess is a treasured fairy story based on the classic Swan Lake Ballet. Cursed to turn into a swan at night, Princess Odette ensnares Prince Siegfried with her beauty, but when she is snatched up by the nefarious sorcerer Von Rothbart the prince must undertake a whirlwind quest to rescue her.
